Elite Careers Coach exists because the best preparation for a banking or consulting process comes from people who have been through it recently and hire for it now.
Who we are
Elite Careers Coach is a group of bankers, consultants and private equity investors, including alumni of Lazard M&A, now working across private equity, investment banking, sales & trading, strategy consulting and hedge funds in London. It started because friends of friends kept asking for help with applications, and the people we helped kept getting offers.
Between us we have screened hundreds of CVs for graduate and lateral hires, sat on interview panels, and asked the technical questions candidates dread. That vantage point is the whole point: you are prepared by people who know what the person across the table is scoring, because we are those people.
How the group works
Every engagement has one dedicated lead coach: one person who knows your background, your target firms and your weak spots, and runs your sessions end to end. Behind them, the rest of the group contributes the technical materials, runs desk-specific mock interviews when you are targeting a seat outside your lead coach’s own experience, and keeps the advice current as hiring changes.
We are not named here because we are all in full-time roles at firms you would recognise. What you should know is that the trading mock, the hedge fund case or the consulting fit interview you get was written and tested by someone who does that job.
How we work
- Every engagement starts with a free 20-minute call and an honest view of your chances.
- Sessions are one-to-one, online, recorded on request, and scheduled in your time zone.
- Between sessions, package clients get unlimited written feedback on applications by email.
- Parents who are funding a programme can have a monthly progress call. Students over 18 decide what is shared.
- We say no when we think coaching won’t change the outcome. It is better for both of us.
