For university students

Spring weeks, summer internships and graduate schemes: a plan, not a pep talk.

Applications that get past the screen, technicals you can defend under questioning, and mock interviews that make the real thing feel familiar.

The UK calendar

Why timing matters more than talent

The best candidates lose seats every year by applying in November for roles that filled in September. Your plan is built backwards from these dates. US and European calendars differ; we cover those too.

Aug – Oct
UK spring week and summer internship applications open and fill on a rolling basis. Most seats go before the stated deadline.
Oct – Jan
First-round interviews, HireVues and online tests. Assessment centres and superdays follow quickly.
Jan – Mar
Remaining summer internship rounds; spring weeks confirmed. US junior-summer processes largely concluded.
Apr – Jul
Insight programmes and spring weeks run. Conversion to summer offers depends on performance during the week.

What a typical student engagement looks like

Most students choose the Interview Season Sprint: ten hours over six weeks timed to the application window. Week one rebuilds the CV and cover letters and fixes the firm list. Weeks two and three are technicals. Weeks four to six are mock interviews and an assessment centre, with unlimited written feedback on every application you send in between. Single sessions are there if you need one specific thing fixed fast.

Non-target? Good.

A large share of our offers have gone to students from outside the usual target list. The route is narrower and the story has to be tighter, which is exactly what coaching is for.

Questions

Before you book

I'm in first year. Is it too early?

No. Spring weeks are decided in first year and are the cleanest route into a summer internship and then a graduate offer. A few sessions in September of first year changes the next three years.

I'm in final year with nothing lined up. Is it too late?

Not if you move now. Off-cycle internships, graduate schemes with later deadlines and smaller firms hire through the year. The plan will be different, but there is one.

Can my parents pay?

Yes. Many do. See the parents page for how that works, including a monthly progress call if you both want one.

Do you help with 'which firms'?

That is half the value. A realistic shortlist built for your profile, not the same twenty logos everyone applies to.
